At this year’s Sacramento International Auto Show, the CHP will be on-site with their Dodge Charger patrol car and child ID equipment aimed at keeping children safe. Parents can get a free identification card with all the child's vital statistics that can save precious minutes if a child ever goes missing. There will also be booster seat information and instruction on how to properly install a child safety seat.

"It is unfortunate how many responsible, caring parents improperly install a child safety seat in their vehicle. Learning how to correctly install these seats definitely save lives,” stated Liz Dutton with the California Highway Patrol.
