CALIFORNIA FUEL CELL PARTNERSHIP
The California Fuel Cell Partnership is a collaboration of eight automobile manufacturers and other allied organizations with the vision that fuel cell vehicles powered by hydrogen will change the future of transportation. A fuel cell is an electrochemical device that produces electricity efficiently, silently and without combustion. Hydrogen fuel (which can be obtained from water or from hydrocarbon sources such as natural gas, methanol or petroleum products) is combined with oxygen (from the air) to produce electrical energy. In the Fuel Cell Partnership display you can learn more about how hydrogen fuel cells are created, and also be able to test drive a fuel cell vehicle yourself.
